Slip on flanges with neck are a common type of flanges, whose materials include stainless steel, carbon steel, duplex steel, alloy steel and so on. The following is an introduction to the materials of flat weld flanges with neck.

 

1. Stainless steel: stainless steel is a highly corrosion-resistant alloy steel, which is usually used to manufacture the high neck portion of the band-necked flat weld flange as well as bolts and nuts. Stainless steel has good processability and corrosion resistance, so it is widely used in chemical, food and pharmaceutical industries.


2. Carbon steel: carbon steel is a kind of alloy steel containing a certain amount of carbon element, which is usually used to manufacture the main part of the flat-necked welded flanges. Carbon steel has good strength and toughness and is suitable for various pressure and temperature conditions.


3. Duplex steel: Duplex steel is a kind of alloy steel with two-phase organization, which is usually used to manufacture the high neck part of flat welded flanges with neck. Duplex steel has good corrosion resistance and high strength, suitable for a variety of harsh chemical environments.


4. Alloy steel: alloy steel is a kind of steel containing a variety of alloying elements, usually used in the manufacture of the high neck part of the flat welded flanges with neck and bolts. Alloy steel has better strength, toughness and corrosion resistance, and is suitable for various high-pressure and high-temperature environments.

1. Firm Connection

Slip on flange, also called flat welded flange. Its lower neck height improves the stiffness and load-bearing capacity of the flange. The outer surface has a precipitation type structure, which is welded together and tightly connected at both ends, achieving a solid connection that can effectively prevent leakage and fracture.

 

2. Easy Installation

Installation on site is more convenient, only welding is required to complete installation omitting the procedure of weld patting and kneading.

 

3. Compact Structure

The size of compact flange is reduced by reducing the sealing diameter, thereby reducing the cross section of seal surface. Meanwhile, we maintain the flange pressure by squeezing the gasket through the bolt load. It saves space and weight and ensures that the pipe joint is watertight.

 

4. Good Seal Performance

To effectively prevent leakage inside and outside the pipeline, we use appropriate sealing materials like non asbestos, rubber etc. Stainless steel SO flange also ensures the stability of temperature and pressure and prevent corrosion and pollution.
