• Dimension

Its dimensions include inner diameter, outer diameter and wall thickness. For instance, if the radius length is 1.5D, the curvature radius ont only needs to be controlled, but also must be within the tolerance range required. In order to improve welding quality, grooves with certain angles and edges are opened at the ends. It's vital that the angle, thickness and deviation range of the edges are specified.

• Surface Treatment

The surface quality and mechanical properties are basically the same as those of pipes. The steel grade of the pipes are requested to be connected is the same so as to facilitate welding. All pipe fittings must undergo internal and external surface treatment, then be coated with anti-corrosion paint. It's for the sake of export needs and transportation to prevent corrosion and oxidation.

• Package

For small pipe fittings, a wooden box about 1 cbm is required for exports and the quantity of elbows and total weight in box must not exceed 1 ton. For large fittings, they should be packaged separately and notice packaging mark. It shall indicate the size, steel grade, batch number and trasemark. Weld elbow also should be stamped with steel seal and accompanied by a packing list and warranty documents.
