With excellent elasticity, strength, ductility and corrosion resistance, engineering steel widely used in most general engineering and manufacturing fields. The energy sector like nuclear energy, wind energy, electricity,gas and offshore pipeline etc as infrastructure. It’s widely use stainless steel package because of recycling. Nearly 75% of typical household appliances come from steel.
2.Types of Stainless Steel
Stainless steel, a high alloy steel with the features of corrosion resistance and beautiful surface, which is no need for surface treatment such as color plating and painting. The so-called ferrous material needs the ati-rust treatment.
It can simply divided into 3 categories like 200 series, 300 series and 400 series. The 200 series contains less nickel, 400 series does not and 300 series contains the most nickel. Therefore, the 300 series stainless steel is the most affected of nickel price.
According to the steel form, it can be divided by 5 categories like roll plate, plate, selectional material, tube and accerssories. The most significant thing is roll and plate. The selectional material can be made of various shape steel such as angle steel, flat steel U-steel and L-beam etc. The steel pipe includes seamless steel pipe and welded pipe, differing in once forming. Parts refer to accessories such as elbow, flanges and other pipeline spare parts.

Stainless steel is not a steel would never rust. It has stronger corrosion resistance than other steels under the same condition which depends on the chemical composition of itself, the influence of mutual state and the media of working envirinment.
Stainless steel itself do not have magnetism, but will generate while working. It’s not scientific to test magnetism to decide whether it’s stainless steel because iron also has magnetism.
