Packing Method of Stainless Steel Pipe Fittings

The packaging of stainless steel pipe fittings is crucial to maintaining their hygiene, preventing contamination, and ensuring safe transportation. The packaging bag can also be marked on the stainless steel pipe with relevant information, such as specifications, materials, production date, etc., for easy storage and differentiation.

Here are some common packaging methods for stainless steel pipe fittings:

wooden box

1. Wooden case packing: Suitable for small-sized pipe fittings in large quantities.

Pipe fittings below DN200 are typically packaged in wooden cases to prevent rolling or collisions during transportation. Fumigation-free wooden boxes are recommended for international shipments to avoid customs issues such as the return of the goods, greatly increased transportation cost and reputation cost.

2. Pallet packaging: Ideal for large-sized pipe fittings, which is also one of the most used packaging methods.

Pipe fittings are placed on pallets, secured with packaging tape, and wrapped with packaging film for surface protection. Starting from DN250 (Φ273mm), pallet packaging can save costs and optimize transportation volume.

3. Standard packaging box: Suitable for standard and small-sized pipe fittings.

Pipe fittings are usually first wrapped in plastic bags and then placed in cartons with appropriate padding to protect and secure them. When the number of pipe fittings is not large, and the specifications are small and the weight is light, you can use a hard board carton, which is not easy to crash and has a certain protective ability. When the weight reaches more than 10kg and the carton is packed, it is recommended to wrap the protective film on the outside of the carton to prevent the carton from falling apart during the delivery process to a greater extent.

4. Bag or foam packaging: Suitable for smaller quantities of pipe fittings.

Pipe fittings are wrapped in plastic bags, snakeskin bags or foam to protect their surfaces from scratches and damage.

5. Plastic sleeve packaging: Suitable for long pipe fittings, such as pipes or rod materials.

When choosing a packaging method, it is usually necessary to consider the protection and safe transportation of pipe fittings, and also to comply with the requirements of relevant industry standards and regulations.
