| Industrial Grade Steel NPT Threaded Flange
Threaded flanges are a type of flange that does not require welding. Instead, the inner hole of the flange is processed into pipe threads, which are then matched with threaded pipes to create a secure connection. These flanges are commonly made of stainless steel or carbon steel, but they can also be constructed from duplex steel or alloy steel. Compared to flat welding flanges or butt welding flanges, threaded flanges offer easy installation and maintenance, making them ideal for pipelines where on-site welding is not permitted.
In cases where alloy steel flanges are needed, but welding is not feasible or the welding performance is subpar, threaded flanges can be a suitable alternative. However, it is important to note that threaded flanges should not be used when the pipeline experiences drastic temperature changes or when the temperature exceeds 260℃ or falls below -45℃, as this may lead to leakage.
One of the main advantages of threaded flanges is their fastening method, which involves threaded connections. This method ensures good anti-loosening and stability, making the flange highly secure. Additionally, threaded flanges provide excellent sealing capabilities, effectively preventing media leakage.

2. Reliable sealing
NPT or BSP thread flange can be connected with a sealing gasket, makes a good sealing performance that it will not leak oil or air during the operation of the pipeline. We normally use good sealing material such as NBR, PTFE, EPDM, silicon and non-asbestos etc.
3. Strong Adaptability
Threaded flanges are applicative for low pressure and small diameter pipe connections. It’s suitable for connecting various steel pipes and pipe fittings that can connect different materials, as well as single or double layer welded steel pipes.
