(1) How long is the usual maintenance cycle for threaded ball valve?

The maintenance cycle of stainless steel one-piece ball valve is generally recommended to be carried out at least once a year. In harsh environments or cases of heavy use, more frequent maintenance may be required, such as semi-annual or quarterly. Regular cleaning, lubrication and inspection are an important part of the maintenance program to ensure optimal valve performance and extended service life.

- Fluid characteristics: Consider the chemical properties of the fluid, temperature, and pressure to determine the material's tolerance to the medium.

- Working conditions: Take care the humidity, temperature, external preaasure to ensure the material’s stability.

- Sealing material types: Commonly used sealing materials include rubber, plastic (such as nylon, PTFE), babbitt alloy, copper alloy, chromium stainless steel, chromium nickel stainless steel, etc

- R & D of new materials: With the development of nanotechnology, new nanomaterials may become the key to valve manufacturing, improving valve strength, corrosion resistance and thermal conductivity.
