| Threaded Wide Ball Valve
The closing part of the Guang-style ball valve is a sphere, which rotates around the center line of the valve body to open and close. Ball valves are mainly used in pipelines to cut off, distribute and change the flow direction of the medium. Wide ball valves are a new type of valve that has been widely used in recent years, generally installed horizontally.
(1) Threaded Connection: Threaded end connection allows for easy installation and maintenance. The threads are designed to provide a secure seal and prevent leakage.
(2) Ball Valve Design: The core component of this valve is a floating ball with a hole through it. The ball rotates within the valve body to control the flow. When the handle is turned 90 degrees, the flow is either fully open or closed, providing a tight shut-off.
(3) Material Quality: Guangzhou-style threaded ball valves are often made from high-quality materials such as stainless steel, which ensures durability and resistance to corrosion, making them suitable for a variety of media.
(4) Versatility: Wide ball valves are versatile and can be used in a range of temperatures and pressures, depending on the specific model and construction materials.
(5) Low Friction and Torque: The design of the ball valve reduces friction and torque, making it easier to operate and reducing wear over time.
(6) Compact Design: The screw structure design makes the ball valve more compact and can be installed and operated in a smaller space.

| FAQ
What important aspects you shall pay attention when using wide ball valve?
(1) Sealing Material Selection:
The primary sealing material for ball valves is often PTFE, which is chemically inert and offers low friction, stability, and excellent sealing. However, it has limitations such as a high expansion coefficient and sensitivity to cold flow. The design of the valve seat must accommodate these properties to maintain seal integrity, especially as the material can harden over time, affecting its reliability.
(2) Temperature resistance limit
PTFE has a low temperature resistance and can only be used at temperatures below 180°C. If the temperature exceeds this, the sealing material will age. Considering long-term use, it is generally only used at 120°C.
(3) Adjustment Capabilities
Compared with the globe valve, the adjustment performance of the ball valve is worse, especially in the application of pneumatic valve or electric valve.
(4) Potential for Blockage
If there are impurities in the pipeline, the ball valve is easily blocked by the impurities, causing the valve to be unable to open.
(5) Avoid Long-Term Throttling
Ball valves are only suitable for use in fully open or fully closed states, and are not suitable for long-term throttling. Long-term operation in a partially open state may cause the valve seat to deform, thus affecting the normal operation of the valve.
(6) Applicability
Ball valves are not suitable for applications that require frequent or rapid changes in flow direction, such as some types of irrigation systems.
(7) Leakage Prevention: Ball valves may leak due to worn seals or improper installation.
