Product Description
Forged tees are created by heating and forging steel ingots and round bars. The threads are then precisely processed using a CNC machine. This method results in a stronger pressure resistance.
In contrast, casting tee fittings involve melting the ingots and pouring the molten metal into molds, followed by cooling. While both methods are effective, forged equal tees are known for their enhanced pressure resistance, making them a preferred choice for many industrial applications.
• Material: High-grade 304 or 316 stainless steel.
• Thread Type: NPT (National Pipe Thread), BSP (British Standard Pipe), or other standards upon request.
• Size Range: 1/2" to 4" (or equivalent metric sizes).
• Pressure Rating: Suitable for high-pressure applications, with a maximum pressure rating of 150 PSI (10.34 bar) for 304 stainless steel and 200 PSI (13.79 bar) for 316 stainless steel.
• Finish: Polished or matte, depending on the application requirements.
| Advantages
• Superior Pressure Resistance: Our stainless steel threaded tees are crafted through a forging process, resulting in a more robust and solid construction that can withstand higher pressures.
• Long-lasting Durability: Boasting exceptional corrosion resistance, these threaded straight tee pipe fittings can endure the corrosive effects of various media, including acids and alkalis, ensuring a long service life.
• Simplified installation: The thread connection design eliminates the need for welding equipment, making installation faster, easier, and more cost-effective.
• Branch redirection: Our threaded tees help maintain the balance and stability of pipeline systems, facilitating smooth and efficient redirection of fluid flow.
